Poke is making AI agents feel as natural as sending a text. Built by The Interaction Company of California, Poke is an AI assistant that lives inside familiar messaging channels like Apple Messages, Telegram, WhatsApp, and RCS, helping users manage email, schedule meetings, set reminders, search the web, and connect everyday services without leaving their conversations.
As Poke grows from a personal assistant into a platform for recipes, integrations, MCP servers, and programmatic automations, its product depends on more than chat history. The assistant needs durable memory and personalized triggers to power what users ask, what tools are connected, what workflows exist, what integrations are installed, and what code-like artifacts power those experiences.
That is where Code.Storage fits: giving Poke's agent ecosystem a Git-native storage layer for the general memory, recipes, integrations, sandbox workspaces, generated changes, and long-running agent workflows behind the text-message interface.

Poke is a text-native agent that can take action across connected services such as email, calendar, reminders, webhooks, monitoring, GitHub Actions, scheduled tasks, browser extensions, and desktop tools. Poke also gives developers and creators ways to extend the assistant. Recipes bundle onboarding context, first-message behavior, required integrations, and share/install links. MCP support lets developers connect custom tools and data sources that Poke can discover and call during conversations.
As these workflows scale, Poke needs infrastructure that treats code-like agent state as a first-class object. A recipe, trigger, automation, generated file, sandbox experiment, or agent-created diff should not be treated as just a raw object. It needs history, branches, commits, isolation, auditability, and the ability to move between short-lived experimentation and durable production state.
Code.Storage provides that foundation. It is a managed Git infrastructure layer for creating repositories, commits, branches, and merge operations through SDK and HTTP interfaces. Every repository is backed by real Git storage with standard semantics, while also supporting automation-focused features like direct writes, webhooks, Git provider sync, and ephemeral branches.
