Rendered Markdown

The repository explorer in the Code Storage dashboard now renders Markdown. Open a .md, .markdown, or .mdx file to see the formatted document first. The syntax-highlighted source is one click away with the Rendered and Source toggle in the file header.

Rendered files include:

  • A table of contents built from the document's headings. Headings at levels 1 to 3 also have an anchor link you can copy and share.
  • Mermaid diagrams from fenced mermaid code blocks, themed for light and dark mode. If a diagram does not parse, the explorer shows its source instead.
  • Relative links and images resolved against the current file and ref. A link to ../setup.md opens that file in the explorer at the same branch, tag, or commit. External URLs and # fragments are left as they are.
  • YAML frontmatter shown as a compact metadata panel above the document. Invalid YAML falls back to the source.
  • Task lists with read-only checkboxes.

A diagram like this one renders in place:

```mermaid
flowchart LR
  agent[Agent] -->|push| branch[feature/preview]
  branch -->|merge| main
```

The explorer never executes repository content. In MDX files, ordinary Markdown and fenced code render normally. Top-level import and export statements appear as syntax-highlighted placeholders in their original order, as do JSX components and expressions that start a line.
